July/August 2026 extracts have been retracted

Due to a major bug in the new media wiki dumps infrastructure, the July and August 2026 dumps were incomplete, leading to many missing pages, despite attempts to mitigate the bug.

This led to extracts with missing Lexical Entries, especially in very active Wiktionaries (mainly English and French ones). Hence these extracts are not on par with our quality exigence. We decided to simply retract them.

You will not be able to download them and if you did, please use another version. The live dbnary version will be updated with the September 2026 version as soon as it is complete.

September 2026 should be fine after MediaWiki fixed the new dump infra bug.

You will also notice a change in the file naming, where the date is now represented as 2026-09-01 instead of 20260601. This modification reflects the naming convention shift in mediawiki dumps. Note however that the metadata (available in dbnary_lime files) still use the same versioning scheme (20260901).
